The name

The group’s name is a registered trademark and is written THREE MEN and a TENOR, with all words spelled out, in print, television graphics, advertising and programmes.

Do not use: the & sign, the @ sign, or the numeral 3 in place of the word Three. That rules out “3 Men and a Tenor”, “3 Men & a Tenor” and “Three Men & a Tenor”.

“3MT” is reserved for the website and for materials where the full name has already been established.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

THREE MEN and a TENOR to bring “The Ha Ha Holidays Show” to [Venue] on [Date].

[CITY] — THE THREE MEN and a TENOR “HA HA HOLIDAYS SHOW” is filled with feel-good Christmas favourites, lots of laughs, and some very sweet and sentimental moments. Highlights include popular holiday standards, a reggae-style version of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”, a serenade from Elvis, a beautiful crowd participation moment in “Silent Night”, and catchy originals like “Frosty the Bluesman”, along with versions of other holiday favourites you will never forget. This seasonal musical show is perfect for audiences of all ages and for your community.

THREE MEN and a TENOR was formed almost 35 years ago by four singers born and raised in different Michigan cities — Paul from East Detroit, Chuck from Midland, Mark from Lansing and Glenn from Berkley. At their formation, the group expected only to sing one song at a public concert in Grayling.

Decades later, the group has done big things: honoured as the Best Entertainment in Michigan, nearly 4,000 performances, opening for Jay Leno, Lee Greenwood and The Beach Boys, a national PBS-TV special, and two tours with more than 60 performances at U.S. military bases in Germany.

Spoken introduction, for the emcee

Three Men and a Tenor was formed by Paul Felch, Chuck Colby, Mark Stiles and Glenn Williams in 1992 to sing one song at a concert in Grayling. After that, they went looking for shows to sing around campus at Michigan State University.

That was almost 35 years ago. The group has won Best Entertainment in Michigan four times, performed nearly 4,000 shows, opened for Jay Leno, has a national PBS-TV special, and went on two performance tours of U.S. military bases in Germany.

Performing music that will move you, rock you, and maybe even touch your heart — please welcome Paul, Chuck, Mark and Glenn … Three Men and a Tenor!

Bio for show programmes

THREE MEN and a TENOR. Three tall guys. One not so tall. Just four normal guys. Together for almost 35 years, experiencing and surviving the ups and downs. Fights and fun. Marriages and children. Old cars, equipment vans and trucks. Somehow they’ve made it all work and kept it together. Same original founding members. They are still driven by the same goal — to make people feel better during a couple of hours of musical interaction and laughter.

Thanks for coming to the show. See what so many have enjoyed over the years, and expect that you will feel better. It is an experience that you can’t help but want to bring others to experience as well.
